How We Ship Live Plants

At ATM Gardens, we carefully prepare each plant for its journey to your home. Unless otherwise stated in the product listing, we ship 1–2 year old saplings or seedlings selected for healthy growth and successful establishment.

We ship orders through USPS and do not ship plastic pots. Instead, we ship the plant’s complete container-grown root system to help preserve the roots and reduce transplant stress.

Before shipping, the root system is carefully prepared with Terra-Sorb moisture protection, wrapped with wet media (paper), secured in wax paper, and placed inside a protective bag to help retain moisture during transit.

Select plants may be pre-pruned before shipment to encourage healthy growth, helps them flush out, and easier planting. Every order includes planting instructions, applicable certifications, and our contact information so you have the resources needed to successfully establish your new plant.
